The company
What we do, plainly
NoHat Industries is a distributor. We buy lubricants, fuels and paper products in volume, hold and program them against what our customers actually consume, and deliver them on schedules the customer sets. We also export those products through the Port of Houston, and we bid them on public and commercial contracts.
We are based on the Gulf Coast because that is where our products come from. The refining, blending and terminal infrastructure behind the fuels and lubricants is here, and so is the container port they leave through for export markets. Short inland legs mean lower landed cost and fewer places for a shipment to stall.
Our customers tend to share one characteristic: running out is expensive. A fleet without diesel does not roll. A plant without the right hydraulic fluid stops a line. A hospital without a generator fill has a much bigger problem than procurement. We plan supply against consumption so that conversation does not happen.
How we operate
Availability before price
A cheaper drum that arrives on Thursday is not cheaper than the right drum on Tuesday. We commit volume in advance so the product is allocated before you need it, and we say no when we cannot supply rather than promising a date we will miss.
The specification is the order
We quote against OEM approvals, ASTM and ISO grades, sulfur limits and basis weights, not against product names. Substitutions get proposed and confirmed, never slipped in.
Documentation as part of delivery
Safety data sheets, certificates of analysis, delivery records and sulfur certifications are part of what you bought. They go on file when the product ships, not when an auditor asks.
One relationship across three families
Lubricants, fuels and paper are different supply chains with different economics. Running them under one account means one quote, one delivery relationship and one invoice for a facility that needs all three.
