Export & Trade
Exporting from the Gulf Coast, documented to the contract
NoHat Industries exports lubricants, fuels and paper products through the Port of Houston. We quote on your Incoterm, load to your container plan, and prepare documentation to the terms your bank or contract actually requires, because that is where export shipments usually go wrong.
Why the Gulf Coast
The product and the port are in the same place.
Houston is the largest petrochemical complex in the United States and one of the busiest export ports in the country. For a lubricants and fuels exporter that is not a marketing point, it means the blending capacity, the drum supply, the terminal access and the container terminal are all inside the same metropolitan area.
Short inland legs mean lower landed cost and fewer handoffs where a shipment can sit. For paper products it means container availability and backhaul capacity on routes that would be expensive from an inland origin.
- Quotation on your named Incoterm and port of discharge
- Container fill optimization before pricing, so you are not shipping air
- Documentation prepared to the letter of credit or contract terms
- Freight forwarder coordination, yours or ours
- Consolidated mixed-product containers where volumes allow
- Repeat-shipment programs for distributors and resellers
Incoterms 2020

Packed for the voyage, not the warehouse

Documentation
Papers prepared to the terms
A shipment held at the discharge port over a document discrepancy costs more than the document did. We prepare against the letter of credit or contract wording, not against a template.
- Commercial invoice and packing list
- Bill of lading (ocean or house)
- Certificate of origin
- Safety data sheets (SDS) in the required language
- Certificate of analysis where the grade requires it
- Dangerous goods declaration and IMDG classification for regulated product
- Fumigation and phytosanitary certificates for paper on wood pallets (ISPM 15)
- Inspection certificates (SGS, Intertek) arranged on request
